Broadmoor is mostly single-family residence, with multi-family housing along Blundell Rd, and No 3 Rd, next to many of the parks and gardens in the community, including the Richmond Golf & Country Club on the southern end. Shopping is centred around the Richlea Square Shopping Centre at the intersection of No. 3 Rd & Williams Rd. There’s also Richmond’s largest mall, the CF Richmond Centre just up north on No. 3 Rd.
There are several elementary schools within walking distance along with RC Palmer Secondary up north and Hugh McRoberts Secondary down south. Broadmoor is also a transit-friendly neighbourhood, with the 403 bus running every 10 minutes along No. 3 Rd to Richmond-Brighouse station, it is a very short commute to the heart of Richmond.
